I am fourteen and a lot of people tell me I rush things in life.
I planned my wedding, my engagement ring. I look at Babydepot and decorate my childs nursery and put outfits for my kids together on babygap.com. I just am so looking foward to growing up, as much I love being a kid. Is this really that unhealthy?

haha, I do get out a lot. I'm a lacrosse player, Aqua Gems swimmer, competitive gymnast, and a track runner (until it ended two weeks ago). I do this during my spare time. But I appreciate your concern.

it is best to do age appropriate things, you are looking for love although you don't think so, by the time you are 32 you will want to be 14 again, leaving your kids with somebody else. forget about babies, think about YOU, think about your college, and travel, etc, God most of all. you think about babies cuz you think they get all the love --somebody made you feel that way. you were probably treated better when you were much younger & helpless.

Only unhealthy if you're spending so much time planning your future that you're not living in the present. I have a feeling you have an unrealistic expectation of what it's like to have a child and be married. It's hard work. So concentrate on school, go to college, THEN think about marriage/kids.

a lot of young girls like to dream about their future wedding but, putting together outfits on baby gap.com is a bit much. you should get out more. find a hobby, play a sport. while wanting to hurry and grow up is normal, you need to broaden your horizons. there is more to life than just getting married and having babies.

Well, kind of. Tone it down a little bit. You have your whole life ahead of you, and you will come to find that because it takes two to tango, your plans won't work out so well. A relationship is a partnership. He'll have input too, so with that in mind, your plans won't work anyway.

You are OK. A lot, at your age, think this way. You are brave enough to admit it. This is the difference.
BUT: You have to live your age, baby. Enjoy it. Keep yourself safe.
God bless you, Kiddy.

Don't rush. Be a kid. Before long you will have to be a grown up.
