Meaning believers can you imagine yourself as a non-believer and vice versa?
Do you think you would be a completely different person? In what ways?

Yeah, I was a very devout Chritian. I imagine I was a complete pain in the ***, but I'm probably a complete pain in the *** in the other direction now...

It's always possible to imagine yourself as extremely less intelligent, so I could imagine myself in the opposite form. I would definitely be completely different person. Here's how:

I would try to shove my beliefs in others' faces. I would spend my Sundays on my knees instead of actually helping people. I would not be able to understand complex ideas, such as pre-algebra, how to count the change in my pocket without using my fingers, and just how they managed to put that big model boat through that small hole in the bottle. I would also constantly tell other people they were wrong, even if I had no idea what they were saying. I would read a book that is supposed to be the truth and prove it is the truth because the book says it's the truth. I would ignore all science except when I needed medical attention. I would not be a member of MENSA any longer. I would know that I am going to a good place after I die and everyone who disagrees with me won't be going there (serves them right for not thinking exactly like I do). I would have eighteen children who are as uneducated as I am, but that would be alright as long as they were raised to believe in the same things that I believe. I would tell random people on the street, all of whom I have never met, that if they don't start agreeing with me today, they'll be eternally punished by my master. I would devote myself to a creature who murders at will and commands me to worship it or be forever tortured, but it loves me. I would give my money to a group of people who will use it to build a bigger building instead of helping others.

I asked something similar last week. Yes, I can.
I was a still underage when I "turned" atheist, but I still remember how I felt about liberals, feminists, gays, atheists, etc.

If only I knew I was going to become my own worst enemy.

If I had not faced reality, I'm pretty sure I would have become very opposed to atheism, non-christianity, feminism, gays, etc.

I'm glad things turned out the way they did.

I *was* a completely different person when I was a Christian. I am ashamed of many of the things I said and did back then.

If I was a Christian I;d be making myself sick on a daily basis. I don't want to live like that.

Mean-spirited Atheist with no sense of humor and filled with hate for everyone.......Nah.....God would probably drop a rock on my head if I did.

EDIT Oh great...Bettie's sitting on my head again...knock it off Bettie....She's gonna clobber me for sure now or drop a rock on my head.

I know what I know, and that's all that I know, and I cannot imagine not knowing it. If I did not know it, I would not know what I know. So no, I cannot imagine not knowing what I know, or knowing what I do not know.
