There is no way to remove past due payments from your credit report except time.

Just make sure to make your payments on time for the next 6-8 months and it will not count against you.

You don't remove it. When you pay it, it shows up as paid. From that point forward, it will remain in your credit file for up to seven years from the date it was paid.

Credit histories are just that. Without all items contained in the history, it's not an accurate history.

I think it stays there, and it shows past due on it for like 7 years. I know if you fail to pay something, or repo it does show in your credit if you never pay and after like 7 years it doesn't come up. I think the only way to take care of the past due would be to just make it current. yet, i still think it say, it was past due and you brought it up to date.

It stays on the record for 7 years weather you pay it or not.
