for all the wars & killings way back in history by the crusaders and other religious people?

What does that have to do with Christianity and religion in 2007?

The crusades and inquisitions were catholic, not Christian. In fact, many true Christians were the victims because they were thought of as heretics for not going along with the Catholic dogma. Apart from skewing Christian doctrine beyond all recognition, I think God will be especially hard on that organisation because it carried out those atrocities in God's name and tarnished it all over the world. What's worse is that since they brought in this lie that the pope is infallible, it means they can't admit to mistakes. That means they can't repent. So those things are still hanging over their heads. You can't be forgiven by God if you're not willing to admit you can make mistakes.

¬Because the wars were caused because certain people didnt like other people because they didnt have the same beliefs. thus they went to war. It is human nature to fear the unknown. The war today is caused by religion. The Muslims hate the Christians because the Christians dont have the same beliefs as them. They want everyone to believe the same thing they do. And they are fighting with the Jews becuase they both believe a certain patch of land is holy and both wants complete control over it for thier own God. They both also feel it is thier own land because each has called it home at one time or other and again, are not willing to share.

Put the blame where blame is owed. It is not false blame, it is common sense.

Because it's a way to discredit Christianity and try to remove religion. It's a form of peer pressure like saying that your stupid or ignorant if you believe in religion and intelligent people do not. The idea is to make Christians feel guilty for something they have no responsibility for so they will slink off or change to become what the bullies who are trying to remove religion want. Don't let it bother you. The truth is they are doing a very poor job of rewriting history in the same manner Hitler and the communists did.

The basic religion (Christianity) that precipitated much of the war, death & mayhem "way back in history" has not fundamentally changed, so "modern day Christianity" is still to blame.

Do you think Iraq would have been attacked if it was a bunch of Christians?

The same thing that slavery in America until the 19th century has to do with Americans today: nothing whatever. But it happened, and it was associated with a particular grouping of the population of the planet, and so we still take it on the chin for the actions of those we neither knew nor will ever know, even though we find such actions to be unconscionable.

Christianity will become regular in general with the aid of indoctrination. a youthful newborn is taken to church, advised a bunch of stuff as whether it extremely is genuine, with almost no thinking of the validity of the information. As they improve there could then be team tension to no longer withstand or disagree. church homes get preferential tax therapy and a great form of legal advantages that facilitates them to proliferate. yet what made all that achieveable replaced into centuries of "convert or die" coverage as Christianity replaced into compelled down the throats of one team after yet another. As for contemporary situations could Billy Bob Redstater be so flippant approximately tens of hundreds of civilians slaughtered interior the middle east interior the previous 6 years in the event that they weren't in general non-Christians?

Evidently we are responsible for all sin commited in our lineage of Christiandom past.....sheesh...turn the page already I say.

Could some just maybe, possibly somehow,someway.. be in a tiny bit of rebellion and are looking for an excuse to continue on their present path, feeling justified in doing so?....Nah...It really is the crusaders fault......good grief...

How ya doin sister?

Uhm, that's what has made it the dominant religion that it is?

Do you really think Christianity would have lasted any longer than any other cult, if the Catholic church hadn't enforced it with a sword?

(And before you get too angry, understand that Islam is in exactly the same boat)

Because the mentality is the same. By the way, I also blame you for the wars and killings of today. Over 600,000 Iraq civilians dead. Who are the terrorists? Oh yes, our fine leader is a Christian.
