Nope, Can't stand listening to rap. Rap music is not of God. Neither is rock N roll, punk and most of counrty westeren music . However I certainly would not object to Christian lyrics that dont bash anybody in a rap song. Sure would beat the blasphemous garbage that is in rap music right now. Now if you really want some good music from black America, listen to what they used to call ***** spiritual. Brother, I can't get enough of that kind of soul music. It s from the heart and soul of true believers. Makes you really want to know the LORD in a close ansd personal way. You can feel the deep faith of some of these singers. In fact you still can get the same stuff in some black churches today, mainly in the deep south ..... hey!... Im a sol...jah.... in the army of the Lord, Im a sol-jah in the army of the Lord...... Halleluia!!! Come to Christ!!!!

definite. i would not say i pay attention to it oftentimes yet i pay attention to older rap each and every each and every so often. i like Tupac and A Tribe talked approximately as Quest [or are they greater hip-hop?] and a few others. I went into the Rap and Hip-Hop section a on the same time as returned [2 months in the past?] and asked for what the folk interior the section felt replaced right into an precise representation of what rap particularly is, somewhat than the commercialised crap. [because of the fact various the time human beings decide Rock based on the bands that are particularly elementary - that are in lots of situations the bands that get carry of the least understand interior the Rock "community" eg. Fall Out Boy and different such bands.] I have been given counseled some stable stuff. even though i won't stand various the recent rap to be honest - the two i haven't heard the stable stuff - or the customary of rap has declined over the years. edit; ok i in my opinion want to provide up rambling, lol

Actually I wouldn't be offended.Only a religious hypocrite would be bothered . Rather I tune out any music that glamorizes a lifestyle that leads to detriment. I am a Christian minister and I believe that I don't have to defend christianity, Jesus said that we should let our light shine so the world can "see" the Kingdom of God. We must show it not tjust talk about it.

Sure...give it awhile to load...
......
Umm...well, to be honest, I like the music, and I like the presentation.
I really couldn't understand all of the lyrics, but I got the gist...
Christians claim to be so perfect, but they really aren't any better than anyone else.
Of course, there are plenty of "Christians" that fit that description, but they haven't quite caught on, yet. We can always hope that they will...
OH..."caught on" to what? Why, to the fact that ALL have sinned, and fallen short of the glory of God.
Yep, that's right...the members of the choir, the men who bring the collection plate around, the sweet little lady in the third row, there, with the bald spot...even the pastor himself...we are all sinners. We have no hope at all...
Think of a huge courtroom...the ultimate courtroom...the Judge up there, He has total power over you, He decides whether you live, or whether you die...and He looks kinda cold...you're sitting there, all alone...and look! Here comes the D.A.!! Call him Lucifer, call him Satan, call him whatever you like...he's got a file on you, and you know that he has all the evidence he needs to convict you. It's hopeless.
Or is it? Because look! Here comes the Public Defender, and hey, He is the Judge's Son!
Now, in the case of the Christian who has trusted his/her fate to this Guy, the Plea Bargain has already been made, and accepted. "Dad", he will say, "This one belongs to me." And the trial is over, just like that.
Christians are sinners, of course. Just like anyone else. Some of us have managed to clean our lives up, with God's help, others have a way to go yet. That is not a matter for me to judge...or for you, either, Hun. I don't like "holier than thou" Christians either, but their fate lies with God. I doubt if He is very happy about the reputation they give His church, but again, it is between the sinner and his or her God.
I like to say that Christians are just a bunch of dumb sheep...trying to show other dumb sheep where the Shepherd is.
EDIT:
You may use my court scene drama...it might make a good rap song. Just remember, it is all about the Judge's Kid...
Then again, a pro-Christian rap song might be beyond your talents. I dunno.
But the dumb sheep thing is mine. In fact, I have the copyright.
;-D

interesting little ditty. It's sad that there are people like that. Thank goodness for people like my father, mother and brother, who are non-hypocritical Christians.
And it's also sad that people stay with people who beat them. It's very difficult to get your mind around why someone would do that. I feel sorry for them though, because they obviously have some VERY low self-esteem if they are doing that. But I guess it's a good thing that your song lays it on the line and shows how ridiculous it is. Maybe it will help someone. Let's hope!

I was all ready to bash you and rap and be hateful like I usually am, but I decided to listen and.... you're good!
I like the random yelling in the background like Eminem does too. Lyrics were awesome!

Maybe it's just my speakers (this isn't exactly a state-of-the-art system I'm working on here), but I could only understand bits and pieces of it. Perhaps you could try posting the lyrics and/or e-mail them to me.
And just because some Christians are hypocrites, that doesn't mean we all are.

Actually Jesus "bashed" religious hypocrites in Matthew 23. Also, I wrote the book "Bible Rap", http://www.bcbsr.com/biblerap.html The parable series is the most popular. http://www.bcbsr.com/survey/jpbl.html

OK I listened to it. It's not my place to judge. I did however, like the music and the "Praise God" in the background. But not all of us Christians fit into the catagory that was sung about.

might. being christian doesn't make it wrong to listen or watch things that are against or not in keeping with the religion. its all about your own choice to do so. sometimes its good to know what others think, isn't that why you're asking.
