Why do some of you understand that Lutherans branched off from Catholics and at the same time think it's impossible for the same to happen to other religions (do some research)

¬Its human nature. not everyone agrees with everyone else. Religion should be personal.

Ah! good question. This is were intra and inter religion conflict occurs.
Religious denominations that break of say Christianity will be looked down upon by the original branch. At the same time those within that branch will frown upon those that are not part of that religious branch.

Nothing but conflicts between all of the various religions

There is a chance that SOME people will not even know the two terms of inter and intra religious conflict.

There are many denominations in Christianity, but they hold to the same basic principles of Christianity. Baptists, Methodists, Lutherans, Orthodox, and the other denominations all hold to the same basic Christian principles. We are all sinners. The trinity. Salvation through Faith. The Bible is the only inspired word of God. That's pretty much it. But some groups take off completely and change one or more of the basic beliefs. Once they do that, they are no longer a part of mainstream Christianity, we call them a cult. Groups like the Mormons, Jehovah's Witnesses and others are prime examples of this. They took something rooted in truth and scewed it so much that it no longer resembled anything like true Christianity.

Lutherans and catholics retained the same core beliefs. Note the lutherans didn't come up with a supplemental holy book.

Your question isn't very clear.
If you are speaking of the Mormon church (going by the name "Educated Mormon", I'm hazarding a guess, here), then I wonder if you can understand that, while I can go into a museum and see the ancient documents that our Bible comes from, those golden plates seem to have disappeared. For some reason, the angel seems to have taken off with them. I guess he took the rest of those plates, too...brass, weren't they? I've forgotten...perhaps they were made of some metal found only on that planet God comes from, up near the star Kolob, I think is the name...
I don't know, is that where the angel took the plates? And what reason would he have for taking them, while leaving such things as the Dead Sea Scrolls just laying around in a cave? Was he negligent?
Not meaning to disrespect you, or your religion, but just letting you know, I have done some research. I have read The Book of Mormon, and I have looked into the basics of the religion. I read the names of the men who supposedly saw the plates, there in the front of the book, and I noticed that these guys do seem to share a family relationship.
I made my decision based on the information I found. I will not be joining the Mormon church. You may do as you wish, of course, and I wish you the best of luck with it. Maybe one day, you will, indeed, get to "hi to Kolob"...
As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord....

Any religion can "split". The difference between Luther and Smith is that Luther attempted to justify his theology with existing, generally accepted scripture. Smith produced a "translated" copy of a completely unknown document. People are less likely to be convinced by "evidence" with no verifiable provenance.

But the Lutherans didn't try to elevate the science fiction writing of Solomon Spaulding to the level of Holy Writ.

There is a world of difference.

Is that a question or a directive? Of course it can happen in other religions. All it takes is for one guy to say "I don't like this" and form his own sect, cult, denomination or whathaveyou.

Most current religions branched off of some other one -- Would you care to be more informative of who you're mad at?

What exactly is your point? Are you suggesting that christians are ignorant to the roots of catholicism and the protestant reformation? Perhaps YOU should do some research. Do you even know who Martin Luther is?

I'm Christian and I believe that lots of religions branch off of others.

What is your real question? ;-)
