I believe in God because of His Word, the change He made in me, and the fact that all fo creation literally glorifies His name to me. But this isn't about me. I am asking YOU why you haven't chosen God. It is the greatest love you will ever know.

My soul hurts to see so many bitter hardened hearts. I love you, even if you can't love in return.

Likely because acknowledging God means acknowledging his principles and laws which in turn means they have to quit living however they please and that they can no longer love themselves more than anything or anyone else. It's just easier for them to deny his existence that way nothing stops them from desensitizing their consciences so that they can do all the things God says we shouldn't do and ignore the things he says we should do!

I don't believe in God because I don't. You'd probably say you believe in God because you just do. Bit hard to define, isn't it? I used to, when I was younger, but not anymore. I honestly feel that humanity, and animals, and plants, are all made of the same stuff, and we all return to our basic elemental form when we die. I don't believe in life after death, or the soul, or anything like that. Therefore, I don't believe in a God that guardians my soul.

I don't believe in organized religion, and NEVER have, because if you take a concept like God and put it into the hands of man, it becomes corrupted inevitably. Man cannot comprehend God, if he exists. Man cannot define or understand God or his ways, if he is as he is described in the Bible. I think religion is ridiculous, and don't feel any reason to believe what was written thousands of years ago by ...whoever wrote the bible-never been able to get a satisfactory answer to that question.

An atheist would say:
There is no direct evidence for the presence of a god or gods.

An atheist might say:
There is another, better explanation for the things that religious people attribute to the actions of a god or gods.

Most atheists will say:
I do not believe there is any evidence for the existence of a god or gods, and therefore I do not believe in the existence of a god or gods.

some do. buddhism is considered to be an athiest religion as well.

Atheism is the position that either affirms the nonexistence of gods or rejects theism. and that's or not and.

I don't need to change. i am happy, i get everything i need, i love my son, i treat people well. weather man created the idea or not why do i have to believe it just because you do. that doesn't make me a bad person. I find that people eccept you more when you pick a religion any religion. but when you don't pick one for some reason people get edgy like you gonna come to work and chop somebodies head of or start spitting pea soup. Not being religious does not make you a bad person. anger makes people bad.

There are thousands of gods - the only reason you think a specific one exists is that that's what your parents taught you.

Nobody can prove any gods, much less a specific god, exist; many people will tell you their god exists but no others, but will never be able to prove it, even if they think so. Some will threaten you with eternal pain or promise eternal joy to get you to believe in their god; these are all stories, created for people who were scared long before we understood the universe. Now we have no more reason for these superstitions.

The change you speak of is called maturation it's natural. Nature is the greatest love I will ever know. You are not special there is no ghost looking out for you. We are all organisms on a tiny particle of dust in a vast galaxy that's bigger than our minds can fathom. We make sounds and symbols to relate to one another but they are all meaningless in the big scheme of things. Enjoy your life, and don't waste your time preparing for another. We are water born from dirt and will soon return, and that's alright with me.

In the words of a colleague, you and I are closer than you think. There are literally thousands of gods YOU don't believe in. Yes, I'm sure you think you have really good reasons for not believing in "those" gods. Well, your god is to me the same as those gods YOU don't believe in are to you. And by the way, most of those other gods have had fervent believers. Yes, I know, I know .... yours is "special."

Which man made concept of god exactly? All creation is neatly well explained in evolution. The greatest love I have ever known was when my niece was born and it has nothing to do with any of the billion gods there are.

Why should they need to choose God? Why does it matter if they don't? It's between them and God, and therefore none of your business... and if God minds, I'm sure He's capable of letting the atheists know without your help.

Basically it's like saying you really love chocolate, and therefore everyone else should too. Maybe chocolate just isn't their flavor, or maybe they're just not hungry right now.

Funny - it was God's word that turned me off. My parents made me. All of this earth speaks of the glories of nature and natural selection, not creation. And, my pets and my fiancee are the greatest love Ive ever known. THATS why I dont beleive in your myth.

Oh, and your personal experience, while proving something to you, demonstrates your delusions and proves nothing to those outside of your head.
