I like it for a couple of reasons.
1) It has a strap at the top I am not a fan of off the shoulders.
2) The way it wraps in the front across the torso makes it a very sliming piece when worn (i know this from personal experience)
So overall I think it is great..

You wear a sample wedding size, I would look on the sale rack at any wedding store, you can get gowns for half price that are beautiful and will give you a choice. This dress is nice, the corset back is forgiving, the ruched midriff in the front will add a few inches there, and the dress looks a bit worn. I'm not sure you couldn't do better for $800

I like the dress. The wrinkles will get worse in shipping but should press out after you have a fitting. I think that the style of the dress would be very flattering to someone who is built petite and small busted, and very forgiving in the midsection/hips (meaning no last minute starvation diet to feel great in your dress on the BIG day!) I think that the price is high for an already purchased dress, but the veil is included and the lace-up style might save you on alterations. I would also want to know about a short return time, in case it isn't what you had hoped. Most of all, congratulations on your upcoming marriage and God bless you.

It's pretty but I think the corset stringing in the back could look better and it's a little bit too simple (and doesn't seem worth $800). If it's something you like tho my opinion shouldn't matter because it's your wedding day and I hope you have a good one. If you want to look at some other dress designs you should check out Maggie Sottero because she has some beautiful dresses. Good Luck :)

I think the dress is very nice. I am not sure of your personal taste or religious background so I cant give you a really honest opinion. The corset back is a great feature. This allows you to customize the fit without having to make alterations in the waist area. The front is a little plain but plain is nice to work with. My gown is very plain as well. You can accessorize with great jewelry or a brooch would be pretty too.

I'm really not impressed with the way the dress is cut, because I don't feel that it would flatter a figure. It's a very modest cut, but if you have a large chest I think it might just end up making you look big on top. I absolutely love corset backs, but it goes up so high, it just doesn't look nice. But don't worry about what we say, what do YOU think? You are the one to wear it!

You can do better than that. For 800 someone have played around in it than in the back yard at that.I just got my dress from David's bridal for 450.Try there they always have a sale.If you get that on you have never tryed it on so how do you know if you like the way it fit you?She is not going to give your money back. She don't even like it .

I like the dress. If your not sure then try going to a bridal shop and trying on a dress similar to that style to get a feel for it, and then decide. Congratulations and I'm sure you'll look beautiful on your wedding day!

it's nice just not my taste. but how do you feel about? my wedding is in 2009, since 2006 i have been wanting and looking at the same dress, still looking at other dresses, but all i could do was think about was this one particular dress and this is the only dress i can imagine walking down the aisle in so earlier this week i bought it because i knew no matter what this is the dress i could not do with out. so its all about how you feel about it.
