Alcohol makes you drunk by killing brain cells. The brain is very versatile and soon replaces the functions of the lost cells by using a different part of your grey matter. However, when somebody drinks too much alcohol, as you do, then the brain no longer has the ability to quickly replace the lost brain functions. The symptoms you describe indicate that you are at the point where you are becoming brain damaged. You are at the point where you have a simple choice to make, either continue as you are and need constant medical care for the rest of your life within a few years, or reduce your alcohol intake considerably; for the rest of your life. See now as a new beginning and look upon the rest of your life as your post alcohol days. It's not that hard, and the rewards are wonderful.

Every time you drink you destroy brain cells and going blank is indicative of blacking out. You should seriously consider not drinking at all as your alcohol consumption and memory glitches suggests your on your way to a serious drinking problem if your not already there. not to mention you can destroy your liver. I would definitely seek counseling because 3-4 pints a day is very different than having an occasional cocktail.

You're having blackouts. Incidentally, lots of alcoholics are charming people. Go to a 12-step program and meet some of them! But seriously, you will end up in jail or treatment or worse. A treatment facility or hospital is the best-case scenario. Please call AA or your doctor asap before you hurt yourself or someone else. Don't waste another minute of your life. Good luck.

Always drink in moderation. There are those who lose track after a certain limit has been passed and it seems that you are one of them.
Like the guy who is currently banged up in some Eastern country just before his wedding for getting plastered and undressing in a pub or bar. He got 3 months in the slammer!

Time to take stock and cut down or better still stop altogether. If not you are on a slippery slope and the only way is down. At least you are realising that you can't keep this up so that is a start,if you can't do it on your own then you must get help.Best of luck ,just keep telling yourself nobody wants to know you when you are in this state and you don't want to lose your friends. Better to be sober and have friends than drunk with nobody.

you're having a blackout. this is common when you drink way too much. you may have a problem with alcohol. try AA if you are worried. you could end up in jail or in the hospital so you may want to figure out sooner rather than later if you are an alcoholic.

Thats way to much alcohol for the body to cope with, if you are not an alcoholic already, you are sure steering you body towards it, think of your liver, its working so hard to keep you alive, that is may decide not to...... The blank space in you memory is your body shutting down to keep you alive.
Get help before its to late

If you are taking prescription medicine and you are drinking then in that case that might happen or if its a hard liquor and you took aspirin then that would be possible, you might want to change the drink and see how it feels, best thing to do is go see the doctor.
