River rat in Vietnam. Meritorious Service Medal and Purple heart. I was spat upon in Boston airport and called a baby killer when I was flying home after my hospitalization, by liberals. Liberals are all too cowardly to actually defend their country, and they resent those of us who do have the courage. They know we're better than they are. They hide behind "freedom of speech" or "the constitution", yet they have never done anything to earn that. They sit in their homes and laugh at us who are defending them, and then they are so low as to think they deserve the same benefits we have. I pity all of you.

Because the media and the Liberals want another Vietnam. Neither likes the military and they haven't since the late 1960's. I was growing up when the Vietnam War was still going on, all I saw was death and destruction. The press never showed anything good the troops were doing.

Now, you have Rangal and Kerry wanting another draft when they never served in the all volunteer military. Both of these guys think only poor people join up and no intelligent person would EVER join the military. They have NO CLUE as to how many military folks have at least some college compaired to regular folks. These same Democrats are the ones that decimated our numbers back in the 1990's. President Bush '41 and Clinton rendered our military force back under 2 million in a massive reduction of troop levels, and now the Democrats complain when they are the ones that authorized the reduction? Give me a freaking break.

I have a cousin that has served 2 tours over there and at least I get some of the scoop of whats going on.

As a former USAF Staff Sargent, I salute you and everything you do.

First, I support the troops. Husband retired military.
The war we were lied to and went in for the wrong reasons, Saddam needed to go no doubt for the crimes against the people but that is not why Bush went in. There could have been another way to get Saddam out of there without so many innocent lives being killed. We were not fighting the people of Iraq but their old govt. I think more effort should have been used to find Bin Laden. I can only say good things about the troops, they do what they are told no questions asked. They protect us with little pay .My problem is with the Bush admin right now. Thanks for serving.

I am an old vet, with two (2) honorable discharges from the 1950's and 1960's. I believe that the new political correctness/ foreign detente (read whooshs/ whimps/ cowards/ liberals/ democrates) think that being friendly, courteous, giving, etc., will win over any advasary. Too bad, this bunch has not read/ studied/ was there/ been there- to know that such cr*p is for the dreamers and those whose gray matter is some where out in another galaxie!!
I now truly regret fathering my 4 children who will live to see this great country ruined by these contemporaries/ like minded fools. I will be dead and gone, but I do truely regret that I have come to this conclusion: IN 40 YEARS, OUR DA*NED ELECTED LEADERS WILL HAVE RUINED THIS COUNTRY, JUST SO THEIR POLITICAL PARTY CAN RUN THIS COUNTRY !!!!!!!!
Like all of the millions of veterans, WE SUPPORT OUR TROUPS ALL THE WAY, AND WILL GLADLY BEAR ARMS, AGAIN, TO PROTECT THIS COUNTRY !!! And yes, the above mentioned cr*p heads know that we will protect them and their rights, some thing they havn't the *alls to do!!!!

Seriously!! My husband did a tour in Iraq with 101st too... It makes me so mad to hear people talking sh*t about the troops, or making statements about a war that they know absolutely NOTHING about. All they know is what they hear on the news or read online which 75% isn't the complete truth... ugh... people are retarded...

Because liberals have nothing else to do. they prefer to sit around and intelectualize everything and then legislate it instead of putting their nose to the grindstone and working for it.'

Oh yes, and lest we forget that liberals HATE the military, i mean REALLY hate it.

But yet they want to claim they support the troops just so they can sound benevolent and noble.

Well, a few questions for ya Libtards

How can liberals claim to support the troops when they write up bills that cut their funding?

How can liberals claim to support the troops when they accuse them of rape and murder?

How can liberals claim to support the troops when they don't believe in the mission they're on?

How can liberals claim to support the troops when they insist on retreat from Iraq because our troops aren't doing a good enough job of winning the war?

How can liberals claim to support the troops when they insist that the war can't be won and that victory is impossible?

Funny that if you support our troops, support our president, and support our mission in Iraq that liberals insist that you enlist and go fight on the front lines. But if you bytch and complain about the US mission in Iraq, then you don't have to do a damn thing.

Great job over there.

I do not bash the troops, the Commander-in-Chief but not the troops. I await the victory we have coming so all you brothers in arms can come home. We can't fail there and with soldiers like you, we won't.

As for wasting my time in here, it is amusing. My real life is chaotic enough so this is very cheap entertainment to me.

Right on rich! My brother in law was/is in the 101Airborne out of Ft. Campbell, KY. and did two tours there in Iraq. I support you guys through and through.
Thank you for your service to our country (even if some losers don't deserve it) and for freeing a nation (Iraq) from a dictator!

Well put! Thank you for serving proudly!!!! Bashing the war, the troops and the government is the only way for most democrats to get votes. they cannot run on the issues, instead they run on the emotions of the American people

The war and government because we feel it is a very big waste of resources and lives. I don't bash the troops but I consider them heroes and brave for going along with this.
