I read your facts and I'm going to answer...as impartially as I am able.

1. You are right. It is also common for people to misinterpret or misunderstand the Bible, the Vedas, the Tao Te Quin, or other religious texts.

2. That is true. But you don't revere them as we do.
3. Partially true. Yes, from your standpoint, I do see what you are saying. But don't blame the Jews. Blame Orson Hyde. Blame the Bible. It is fulfillment of prophecy that the Jews would return to Jerusalem. This is land that was promised to them 4000 years ago...that's BEFORE Mohammed, Islam and the Quran. What's unfortunate is that the two groups refuse to work together.

4. That is also true. The majority of the world's Muslim population is from Indonesia, which, coincidentally is where the largest number of Al Qaeda are from.

5. It was NO ACCIDENT! It was PURPOSEFUL! It was AN ACT OF HATE and AN ACT OF WAR by men who, as you put in #6 are not really Muslim.

6. I believe that the majority of Muslims believe this. I wish that ALL Muslims believed this. I wish that ALL Christians believed this. I wish that ALL Jews believed this. I like how you phrased that though.

7. You are very, very, very right. People aren't perfect. When are we going to learn to forgive each other and be good to each other??

Most of what you have here is really good. Please edit #5 though. It's not just untrue. It's insulting and demeaning.

People, find out for yourselves. Read the holy books of Islam. My family escaped Islam in the 1950s. We've been expecting this war for decades.

The following site shows the other side of Islam. Some would call it hateful, biased, etc.

All I am suggesting its that you look at the quotes, get a copy of the holy books that Islamic people literally believe are true (the vast majority of Islamic people believe and apply every aspect if they can) and actually look at them in context.

Is that wrong? Is sharing the other side of it hateful? Even when encouraging you to actually look at the quotes in context rather than just believing the site posted.

Do your research, folks. Quotes on all subjects are to the right on the site.

I really appreciate your question and i respect what you say. Yes we all (Christians and Muslims) are brothers and we believe in same Allah Almighty, we have same four books in which we put our faith. We should try to make this world a peaceful place, We should develope a sense to respects each others religions and beliefs. We should develop love for everybody, eve for the non-muslims, Alhumdulliah i am a muslim and i respect every religion and i will always try to do this till my last breathe.
Afterall we are inhabitants of one homeland, earth. Why should we fight if we live in one house, we believe in one Allah, have somewhat same basic teachings?
thanks!
May Allah Almighty bless you!

"3rd of all, our point of view is that the israeelians are taking our homes in jerusalem"

THAT IS NOT A FACT ABOUT ISLAM. That is your personal point of view. While it is true that a majority of Muslims believe that Israelis have taken their land, many (including my family) also believe that the land is for ALL people, not just Muslims or just Jews.

Wow Hiba!

Your major question was "What do you think about Islam?"
I believe that Islamic people are also apart of the matriarch of Abraham and as the brother of Isaac and the first son of Abram was blessed to be also a great nation - and he is a great nation.

1st question: I do believe that the Quran maybe in some context misquoted by those that are unfamiliar with its purpose.

2nd question: I do believe that the Islamic people do believe in Moses and Jesus. But isn't it also true that they don't believe Jesus is who He says He is, The Messiah. I believe that the Quran teaches that Jesus was a great prophet, not as great as Mohammad and most certainly not the Son of the Almighty. But those of us that follow the Christian truths, we do believe that Jesus is the Son of God Almighty and that no other is even close to this blessing.

3rd question: I am not completely sure of the Israeli's agenda, but I think that they believe that the land is theirs by the promise of God. I personally don't believe that because of what the scriptures say why the land was taken from the Israelites in the first place by God. Because of their insistence in disobeying God's will and their shameless worshiping of other gods - which God vehemently forbid. You can find this in the majority of the OT.

7th question: You are right Hiba, there is bad in every religion. But, the Christian promise is that those that follow Christ are the chosen ones that belong to the God Almighty. It is the decendant of Isaac NOT Ishmael that walked with perfection to God Almighty, and that is Jesus Christ. And all those that choose not to walk with Him are already doomed to follow the evil one to his demise in the burning inferno for all eternity. No matter how nice or not nice their religion.

May God Bless You

I was going to give an honest thought out answer,

But if you really believe that the Twin Towers were an "Accident" I hate to waste my time with reason.

But here goes anyway,

I think Islam is in trouble because of your #1, when some of the very Imam's "Translate the Quran wrong" they lead people into suicide bombings and terrorism. And the "Problem" with Islam is that there is no central leadership to keep these radical Imam's in line when they "Translate the Quran wrong"

Back to the Towers, we know who flew the Planes, where they trained, who financed it, where they were from, their names, and the names of the folks that coordinated the attack and Osama even took full credit for it. If you think it is still an "Accident" or Conspiracy by the Jews, then you are either very gullible, or scarily naive.

Good Luck and God Bless!

Submission to Allah's Will is the best companion; wisdom is the noblest heritage; theoretical and practical knowledge are the best signs of distinction; deep thinking will present the clearest picture of every problem.
