I use a pair of sharp scissors and rubbing alcohol myself.

If you go to a dermatologist, first he will numb them with novacaine, then cut them off with a sharp scissors and then sterilize the area with rubbing alcohol. But he will send the removed mole to a lab to be tested for cancer ... an unlikely and unpleasant complication.

If you don't think you can bear the pain, or can't reach with the scissors, you could try salicytic acid based wart remover. That will basically chemically burn the skin about 1/16th of an inch at a time per day. It takes longer, doesn't hurt as much and is less likely to get infected.
