Well, alcohol could sanitize it... but be careful of the extreme burning sensation it'll cause, thus I don't recommend it. Never had my lip pierced but other piercings took a month or more to heal completely.

you should be able to have hard alcohol whenever you can tolerate the stinging. However, it is VERY important that you stay away from beer until the piercing is completely healed! The yeast contained in beer can cause a terrible infection in the wound.

Holes in the ceiling caused by people who drank alcohol too soon after having their lips pierced. lol

well...i noticed with mine it bled at random moments for about a week and when it bled it would bleed a lot. so, i would say to wait about a week or until it stops bleeding on its own. since alcohol thins out your blood, u dont want to walk around with a bloody lip all day

At least a month to be on the safe side.
The lip is the most stubborn area to heal.

best to wait till it seels up cuz if eny alcahol gets in your open lip itll sting like u wouldent beleve

well you shouldn't be drinking alcohol if you're dumb enough to get your lip pierced
sorry that's my opinion. I'd wait a while...until you know for sure that it's not gonna hurt. don't take any chances with that

most likely the same amount as a togue ring, not sure, but two weeks at the most, and if your like me a day at the least.
