My 18 month daughter scribbled pen on several of our walls. I have tried Comet, hair spray, vegetable oil, Windex, Oxyclean and soap and water. Nothing works. My mother-in-law used to manage an apartment complex, and suggested using TSP. I've never used it before, but I know that it has strong fumes, and I'll have to send the rest of the family out while I'm working with it. Does anyone have any other suggestions, or experience with TSP?

I agree with the magic eraser by Mr. clean, they have taken out all the pencil and pen marks my 2 year old has blessed us with. I also asked my landlord for some touch up paint, so I can paint over where the wall has washed thin. Good luck

I def agree with Nay. If Windex didn't work, then try the Mr. Clean Magic Erasor before going to toxic fuming chemicals. I think I would even repaint before using chemicals that make you clear house.

Have you tried the magic eraser or a damp rag dipped in baking soda (this works well with crayons not sure about pen, but worth a try.) Sorry no experience with TSP, but I'm sure your mother-in-lawk knows what she is talking about. Good Luck! and let us know what works!

Mr. Clean magic erasers ROCK! My girlfriend's son found ALL the markers and went through their base housing with it. She tried everything, and Mr. Clean was the one thing that worked.

You couldtry nail polish remover, but it might take the paint off too. You could try to get paint that matches up with what's there already and paint over it. My son did the same thing with crayons at about that age, and lots of scrubbing finally worked. Good luck
