I agree with you it's not fair to get the same penalty that someone gets for unaprooved brackets ! I guess they think the crew mans life is only worth 2 brackets !!! Oh wait Tony Eury Jr was suspended for 6 races, guess that guys life isn't even worth that much according to Nascar !

You don't park a former champion. It's an unwritten rule. This is the 2nd time Stewart has taken Busch out this year, he did the same at Daytona.NASCAR probably put themselves in Kurt's shoes.A man can take just so much.Credit Busch for not busting the pillsberry dough boy upside the head.

I am asking the very same question. I can not believe NASCAR let Kurt off so easy. They said because they sat him out for the remainder of the Dover race; they felt that was suspension enough.

I am sorry, but I fear worse behavior is ahead considering how horribly NASCAR failed to make an example out of Kurt for nearly hitting a Pit Crew worker. What he did was unexcusable. I am still shocked that hte City of Dover didn't press any charges.

Because his incident wasn't bad enough enough for suspension. So, he got off lucky. Now if you mount a back wing on the COT with the wrong bracket, you are in some serious trouble!! Look forward to a month and a half off for something like that. If you almost run over a pit crew member, thats a different story. You just get a small penality, no suspension.

what about the other guys that never see penalties, jimmie johnson,"kyle" busch, tony stewart, or juan pablo the ******!!! talk about aggressive driving, please!!! These guys are the paris hilton's of nascar! Kurt is a nextel cup champion who makes mistakes like everyone else! give him a break and stop playing favorites when it comes to dishing out penalties!this guy earned his spot on the track!

I agree entirely, and wish Nascar would develop a rulebook that makes sense. Kurt is like a child who throws a tantrum when he doesn't get his way, and his actions last week aren't aren't something new for him. To top it off, I don't think he'll learn a thing from this. He sure didn't learn anything from Jimmy Spencer punching him in the face when Kurt stopped in front of Jimmy's hauler to confront him in 03. What was the result of that incident? Spencer got suspended, and Bush got diddly. I think it would have been funny if Tony's Jackman pulled Kurt out of his car and did a little recalibrating of Kurts noggin.

The way those Busch Brothers race somebody just may die before one of them are thrown out...They both need a time out and need to realize that the need to care who and what they are hurting...They would even wreck eachother if it means that brother could win...There parents must be so proud

That is a great question. Wish I knew the answer. I agree with you, when you Go down pit road like that and almost clip someone, I don't care who it is, you need to sit it out. Maybe it is going to take someone getting hurt or worse before something harsh is done.

Hey, big $$$. NASCAR doesn't want to offend big buck sponsors. Playing field is different for all drivers.
