You know the answer to this question, I can see the glint of shrewdness in your eyes!!! In the bible woman were separated off and considered unclean! They had to remain in isolation until they were done bleeding! Having sex with a woman during this time was grounds for beheading and or a fate where you wished you were dead an would be praying for death to come quickly!!! This type of behavior is not just consistent with the bible, many cultures in primitive times believed that the woman was unclean at this time! Native American Indians sent all menstruating women to bleeding houses also, all though I don,t think they were as mean as the bible people were about this! The Eskimos would not allow a woman to go into the woods at that time, as she could get killed by a bear!

The OT had many 'crazy' rules for the simple reason of hygiene. Now we have maxi pads and tampons and all sorts of stuff to make our 'curse' invisible. Back then, imagine what it was like. It was mostly for the women's privacy and the protection of the men against PMS. LOL.
Nah really, one of the major reasons women live longer than men, is because we menustrate. So, it is not really a curse.
