that has happened to my hamster. Is your hamsters head up high while he is running around.my hamster fell of a green bin she was on the bin and a little girl was scared of her so she "accidentally" (what ever) knocked it of the bin is high compared to my hamster it is similar to some one falling of a flat but any way her front teeth fell out and she had to eat porridge but she is still alive a well she is about 2 years old now. When she fell she was about 1 years old you see she lived extra year and she was and still is fine (she is on my lap as i am typing to you.
If your hamster is still running for a more then 5 miutes it might die take your hamster to a vet.

My hamster escaped from his cage when I was on holiday and fell from 5 feet. When we found him he was fine. I think your hamster could well be in shock, or very scared. Give him time. If things have not improved in 24 hours you must take your hamster to the vet

That happened to my brothers hamster. Except after it fell it died. It didnt run in circles. Obviously if its running in circles its alive but after a fall they dont usually do that so ur hamster is weird.

if he didnt fall very far he will be ok. a hamsters natural environment is hilly, and their bodies are built for these altitudes.
Running around means he is disoriented.
Keep an eye on him. Observe for a few hrs.

it might have a concushion . sry bad spelling. or it might be in shock. if its running in circles, it may be dead, because the mucles might just keep moving. it sound bad but it could be true.take it to the vet , or if you dont really want to go through the whole process, then leave it in the cage and see what happens. i remember that once someone had a rat and the tail got ripped of, they paid $1000 for the surgeory, and i buy rats every day to feed my snake.

it is in shock do what the girl who's raised them said, mine escape and fall from time to time, they are fine, they jump off the table at night when i'm asleep and i would catch them the next day, now i latch the doors shut.
