I need to design an invitation card and have been looking for FREE greeting card creator but cant find none.Any ideas where i can download one FREE?

If you have a Poundland near you, I picked up a great dvd called PRINT PERFECT for my pc from there...not looked at everything on it yet but you can do cards and invites. Hope these will be of some help.

I think you can create one online at www.hallmark.com without having to download any software

have a look at www.download.com and search for something there. Otherwise use MS publisher, they have templates on there.
