What is up with all of the people who shuffle their feet as they walk, are they just to dang lazy to actually pick their feet up?

A nation that has nothing to fight for has no reason to pick up their feet.
Reason to walk properly: Hey! My remote needs batteries!
Reasons to drag feet: Call my congressman, go to work, pick up kids from soccer practice,

Yes, it is lazy. I laugh because it drove my mom nuts when we did it when I was younger!
I DO think some countries have a habit of shuffling more than some countries though...that being said, the oriental countries do it more...I know when I was in Korea the people did it ALL the time.

In sandals or flip flops I'm a shuffler. The only time it's not a good idea is in the store. Anytime I touch any thing metal I get a good static shock. Makes me start highsteppin real quick!

It's lazy. I've also noticed that more women than men do it and they're usually in Wal-Mart in the middle of the day wearing their pajamas and house slippers.

I think it's not necessarily laziness, it's just that no one told them it was annoying to other people.
