You can't swallow it per say, but you kind of can. It will still be connected but it can bend back, and you swallow part. Of course it is not swalled and pooped out though! You could choke to death I presume.

No, you can not swallow your tongue. If you become unconscious and are laying on your back, the muscles that control your tongue will relax and the tongue will fall back, blocking your airway. But you can not swallow your tongue.
This may be what you're asking.
You can use you're tongue to commit suicide. "sometimes it's referred to as 'swallowing' you're tongue"...

No it's not. We say that people do when the are on their backs. The rear portion of the tongue moves backward, but doesn't go back very far. It might go back far enough to cut off your air supply, but you can't swallow it. The tip of your tongue stays at the tip.

This term is also used to describe someone who doesn't have control over their body during a seizure. They can "swallow their tongue" by having it roll back in their mouth.

Yes yes you can you know that string at the end or bottom of your tounge if you cut that you can swallow it and people who have seisures don't swallow their toungs the tounge swells and the can't get any are so the choke. BEWARE if you swallow your tounge it will be the last thing you'll do hope I've helped

nno you cannot swallow your tongue, however if you are unconscious and on your back, your tongue can fall back, and block your airway, making it hard to breathe.

some people slit the thing under there tongue to make there tongue longer but unless you slit that you cant swollow it and if you did .....youd most likely die
