Does anyone know anything about Addison's disease on pets, more specifically dogs?

My doggie has recently diagnosed with the disease, i am miserable and don't know how to cope with this

Go to ginnie.com (a Great Dane site) and follow the medical links to Addison's. There is an extensive library on this disease, since it occurs in Danes. Good luck!

Read the above links, but do talk to your vet as well. They're not just there to diagnose, they're also there to provide information an support. I'm sure your vet didn't just say 'Addison's' and push you out the door! Also, each case is rather individual so you do need advice for your particular dog and the stage of the disease he's in.
