good people go to heaven and bad people go to hell - clear and cut according to the Bible. however I THINK the real thing is 100 times more than our perception..heaven and hell are beyond our comprehension - i read those books too about heavan and hell, they caught my eye....check out the websites below...interesting!

Afterlife is one of those words that don't make any sense unless you believe in it.
You die. And unless you choose cremation or other services, your body will change back into the same particles it started off with; water, hydrogen, atoms, electron, protons, etc.
If I am forced to accept the word "afterlife", that is where we will all end - an integral and interacting part of the universe without our bodies.
Which does not sound like a bad thing after all - we are, after all, built from recycled materials. Nice to know that we will be part of something new; perhaps even another human being without past knowledge.
Rob
P.S. - Everything still happens after you die, life goes on after all.

I believe exactly what God's Word tells us. I didn't use to. I was once an atheist. Once I was willing to forsake my pride and admit I really didn't know as much as I thought I did, I learned and accepted the truth. Jesus is the way, the truth and the life. No one comes unto the Father but by Him. Those who choose life will spend eternity with our Creator. Those who reject life will spend eternity with Satan. God loves us all very much, but He will not drag people kicking and screaming into heaven. If you invited someone into your home and they spit in your face, would you force them into your home anyway? I tell people to not enjoy the free will to choose and then blame God for their choices. He created hell for the fallen angels who rebelled against Him and tried to take over His home. If someone tried to take over yours, what would you do? Let them stay and do what they feel like doing in your house? If you choose to die and go to hell, God has no choice but to allow you to do just that. He will not interfere with your right to choose spiritual death and separation from Him forever. I don't know what your personal beliefs are, but I can read the contempt for God in some of the answers you got. I'm very sorry for all who have chosen to spend eternity away from God. He knows how you feel about Him. He won't try to make you go to heaven. As long as you are here on this earth, you can always change your mind, but I hope you don't wait too late, because no one knows how much time they have left in this world. God bless everyone.

God is love. Heaven is being in the presence of God. Hell is leaving God's presence; which is nothing. So, both can be right.
Many ppl fall into the folly that Hell is a collective place people gather ... but in fact, the Devil left God because he refused to worship Jesus (Christan's make up the Body of Christ) ... and God asked the Devil to leave his presence. The Devil wishes to scatter mankind so that he can destroy the Body of Christ. When he separates a man, that man goes into nothingness ... and if the Devil were 100% successful, then he'd get his praise from God because he wouldn't have to worship Christ (which is the totality of all who accept Christ).

There is no afterlife. When I die, just like Rover, I'll be dead all over.
