â¥guinea pigz⥠is quite right about x-taste and x-smell. But "paresthesia" usually means a tingling or itching sensation, not a lack of feeling. By the way, Lorenzo de' Medici had x-smell, but condidered it a blessing because of the way Italian cities smelled in those days.
