Haven't you heard? This is America where the woman is the jack of all trades and the master of none. She can have a career...but doesn't make as much. She can be a stay at home mom...but that's repressing her. She can be a single mom and never need a man...although she'll be too tired to do anything with her kids. With all those mixed messages, is it any wonder that both men and women are confused and don't know what to do? There are only 24 hours a day and they get used up pretty quickly.

Bible says a womans place is to look over and take care of her household, it also says that a man is to help her as head of the household, but in daily life for her to tend the matters of the family and home that need attending to.
Now because of our greed driven society, a woman "usually has to work and be away from her children and home, by ends day she is exhausted and as the man is also working
the house hold, the home, and more importantly the Family becomes "dilluted" in quality time together and also dilluted in values.
Television adds and human nature causes the "Gota have this "like everyone else does" keeping up with the Jones'es
lifestyle subject to their "peer group".
It breeds "the grass is always greener attitude inside of people and causes envy and competition to be "better" than the person next door, by accumulation of "things" that really are uninportant. We just moved and discovered of all our values "pictures and memories of our family is all that was "worth" moving. Children, a husband and a wife, love, true love, cannot be replaced by a new home,rv, or television set.
The bible says to esteem all others "better" than "yourself" guess if we did "all" would be better off, no wars either.

You could have stopped the question after 'wife'. It is not society who supports the individual, but the individual who supports society. As JFK said: 'Ask not what your country can do for you. Ask what you can do for your country.' Sound advice back in the 60's, and sound advice today.
Now, in terms of whether a 'wife' [different from 'woman'] is praised more for working outside the home, I have to ask the question, 'by whom'? I live in a nation with over 300,000,000 people in it... The society of lower Manhattan is different than the society of Harlem is different from the society of Westchester County - heavily populated areas less than 50 miles from each other. WHICH society are you talking about?
Poor questions will only gain you poor answers.

A woman who works but doesn't use her earnings to pay bills and provide? Either your view of the situation is skewed or she's just self-centered. I've known a couple women who thought the money they made was for them to spend on whatever they wanted. That the bills should be covered by their husband. Even then it was because the job was part-time and they didn't make a lot. I think you need to be more descriptive if you want a helpful answer. Sounds like you're just being petty and judgemental right now.

i think of I understand what you mean. there's a stereotypical concepts-set that announces a guy ought to help a enjoyed ones along with his income and specific do some chores while a woman does no longer ought to help a enjoyed ones along with her income yet ought to do chores. this concepts-set from a protracted time in the past while the female earned little or no. those days that's stupid. i think of that's suited that all human beings put in a share of their income to pay the expenditures (like, say, 80%). this way, all human beings has funds left over - no rely how plenty or little you're making. As for chores - the two do them or pay somebody to do the chores neither one needs to do. P.S. "spouse who neglects the abode" sounds such as you have some very own bitterness occurring consisting of your considerable different. And which you anticipate that's the spouse's activity to handle the abode. attempt coming near it from the point of view that that's all human beings's activity to "do the abode stuff".

when i was growing up my mom and dad both worked a full time job while they have three kids.i think as long as the kids are not negated a lady have have both a career and a family. i think if the man and woman both work they should have a joint checking account to pay bills from. there is nothing wrong a woman working in the world as long she is Strong enough to handle the job and work.it is hard to do with out letting one suffer. but think how many ladies do it everyday.

Which society?
In America the wife has just as many rights as the husband...No difference under the law...
Sounds like if you do not already live in another nation, you really need to move to one.
Perhaps you can find a nice little ignorant nation where you can subjugate your spouse into a role reminiscent of slavery...
Good luck troll.

there is nothing wrong with a stay at home women. My mom is a stay at home mom. And this job is harder than any job out there. Especially if you have kids. I think the women with jobs took the easy root. No offense to any of you it is just it takes a lot of muscle to be a stay at home mom.

You must be a third world country resident. You are wasting your life in futile things.
Come out of your shell and see what all is out there. This world is full of beautiful things.
Enjoy.
