Consult your warranty to determine this information for certain. I've heard from people 'in the know' that installing after market car starters will void a warranty because it messes with the computer system of the car - the same may be true for stereos.

no, if you damage another system warranty will not cover it but as far as the vehicle goes an aftermarket sound system will have no effect on warranty.
