It is sad how many people got this one wrong.

Look it up; don't ask for answers here. Most of the answers given so far are incorrect. Get a copy of Strunk and White's The Elements of Style.

Do your own homework.

I realize that you may have been stuck without a smart enough adult around to help you find out what was actually wrong with the sentences, but you really shouldn't use this site to do your home/school work. I think there is a site that offers homework help in a safer environment and with the right answers only. IN this case, "a" is the answer.

Try to solve your problems with your books first, then ask for help from someone you live with, only seek anonymous help if its your last resort. You might walk away from here dumber than when you arrived!

I admire you for trying to use the internet because it does contain a lot of useful knowledge, but you may not know how to get to it yet. Here is the link to grammar sites:

It is important that you do you own homework, learn proper punctuation, grammar, and style. You will become a much better writer. As someone else stated, "The Elements of Style" is an excellent resource for writers.

I hope this is helpful.

This is one case where the popular vote doesn't count.
The correct punctuation is 'a'. You have to put commas after geographical designators, and that means after 'LittleRock', and after 'Arkansas'.
