Both ate the fruit and it is beyond doubtful it was an apple. Suffering and hard work was a punishment but wars are manmade.

Everyone blames it on Eve. That is why there have been so much abuse and disregard to the women in this world. That is why the women never achieved full equality in rights with their fellow men, even if they were more qualified.

We know that history is written by the victor.
The men who physically overpowered the women wrote the history of everything we learn in school, and out of school.

The Bible we have today was corrupted by men who have no less of enthusiasm to downplay the status of women than some of the men living in this century.

BUT Quran presents the story of Adam and Eve differently.
never blamed Eve for the sin that Adam committed . God spoke about both Adam and Eve being duped by Satan, and never singled Eve out.

(2) Adam is held responsible for the sin he committed, he cannot blame it on Eve, since he is as a responsible human being as she.

(3) Both Adam and Eve were punished for their sin by being ousted from Paradise.

(4) Eve did not receive any harsher admonition than Adam and was not threatened by misery for herself and all her female offsprings as the Bible depicts.

The men till the moment are destroying our world and finally they blame it on the woman according to that damn stereo tape about the first sin.

Peace!

Women, they suffer to have you the men of tomorrow yet we do the same thing she did on a daily basis...selling ourselves out for lust and greed. Yet you call her a b*tch. Some people can be a b*tch.Lying, scheming, evil, backbiting, criminal, sons of b*tches. I am sorry, I almost forgot I am a Christian. So you blame Eve for this, how simple you are. B-*-t-c-h- means a female dog.Does that make it better?

where does it say anything about an apple? the tree of knowledge of good and evil is the Godless source of knowledge that the serpent wants everyone to follow! It's the delusion of man being able to dominate the earth by his own standards and laws....and look where that's brought us....Eve(woman) was really a symbol of Adam's initial unhappiness with being by himself....God saw that Adam wasn't content to just be with Him so he gave him a 'twin' to make him happy and the serpent knew that the woman was the more likely to stray from the Creator and also sway man!

Sorry, but Adam is entirely to blame. The Bible says that "through one man (Adam) sin and death entered the world." Adam received the command from God not to touch or eat from the tree, before Eve was created. And although Adam was standing right next to Eve when she ate, he said nothing. Eve is only guilty of being mislead. Adam is guilty of sin, because he disobeyed God.

There is a lesson to be learned.

If ya cant forgive Eve, then what good are ya?

Do you stand up against the serpent, and never fall?

I didn't think so. We all have the tendencies to sin, and note, we do so quite often, whether we acknowledge it or not.

I used to and then I got deceived by someone and found out it was an easy trap, might have done the same thing myself so who knows???? God knows, he knows that any of us wouldn't have been able to resist the powerful temptations of the devil, no one person after has been sinless so it stands to reason..... can't blame Eve

I dont believe it was the Eating of the Apple that got man kicked out the garden! I believe the real reason God kicked them out is because they didnt take responsibilty for their actions and repent! That story should be a lesson to all....when you do wrong to people! or to God or to yourself1 TAKE RESPONSIBILITY for your actions

I have to agree with Suzzane. Adam knew before Eve and Adam said nothing! Thumbs-up for you, Suzzane!
