Look for some type of candy that can be personalized. I know that M&M's can do it. Or there are Hershey bars that I have seen. If you don't want the expense of personalizing I would find some cute fabric sacks that you can fill with little heart chocolates. If you are creative and have the time, you could make the bags yourself out of lace by cutting a rectangle, folding it in half with wrong sides showing and stitching the bottom and the open side, then turning it to the right side fill it with whatever you choose and then tie it with a pretty ribbon. You can also find round tulle that is already cut and all you do is fill the center gather and tie a tibbon, check the local craft supply stores.

I know it's not the most original thing to give out, but Hershey's Kisses are so darn cute. And it just seems so appropriate for Valentine's Day. If you go to the M&M's website, you can order specific colors or combination of colors; that might be kind of fun to get candies with your wedding colors. If you want to go for something more high-end, go to your favorite chocolatier in your city and buy a bulk order of truffles and have two or three packaged in simple little white boxes with a red ribbon -- or whatever wedding colors you have.

I just got married this february (valentines day weekend). I did all red attire, accents, and flowers. My favors were small heart tins (with a see through top) and i filled them with cinnamon hearts and wrapped them in tulle with a red ribbon tied around it.. they went over pretty well since they were edible. As for me, they were pretty cheap, easy to assemble, and looked adorable.

My wedding favors were tall frosted shot glasses with a cute picture, our names, and the date on them. I filled them with little candies that were my wedding colors. For the kids I filled little silk sacks (also my wedding colors) with kid friendly candies, again they were my wedding colors. Candy always makes a great favor. Everyone will like it. It's really how you present the candy (in shot glasses, sacks, decorated boxes, etc.) that really makes an impression.

You could make home made heart shaped cookies for everyone with red frosting (or whatever colors you are choosing). You could then attach a poem about love to the bag it is held in? Everyone loves a good cookie to munch on throughout the night.
