Hi !!!
ABSOLUTELY!!!!...You should also add 1 teaspoon freshly grated orange peel or less depending on the amount of intensity you want.

I have not made this, but I thought you might be interested in it...

Instead of just plain orange juice, try using frozen orange juice concentrate. Oranges are much more mild than a lemon, so you will need to intensify the orange flavor to make them taste like something more than just sugar.

Limes would probably be better. You won't get as intense an orange flavor as you get an intense lemon flavor. Wouldn't be bad, but you'd need to cut back on the sugar.

It's hard to say without seeing the recipe. I think you'll be fine, but remember to reduce the sugar content as oranges are naturally sweeter than lemons.

It is very difficult to get a good margarita in a bar or restaurant. They all use sour mix and triple sec. Triple sec runs well under 10 dollars for a bottle, and sour mix is horrible. Make your margaritas with Cointreau and lime juice. Grand Marnier is better enjoyed over ice or chilled in a shot glass for sipping.

oranges are milder. i would add a couple of spoonfuls of oj concentrate. i'd also add some finely grated orange peel. to really intensify the whole thing, add grated orange peel to the crust also. or just forget the fruit and go for the grand marnier. mmmmmmm...
