Everybody is saying to wax or use a plain old razor. #1, waxing takes to much time and can be messy. #2 a plain womes razor could 90% chance leave you with ugly razor bumps. So I would suggest you use a bikini touch up electric shaver, which can be found at any Walmart or pharmacy store, and it is a skinny pink shaver that comes with a small battery. But my best advice is to use a medium size man's electric clippers. I use this myself and it is non-messy, quick, and leaves you with no razor bumps unless the clippers are dirty or rusted. It also allows you to cut very accurately the way you want it. Be sure that when you start, never trim yourself after you get out of the shower or bath, always before. Because your skin tends to get dried out and swollen after you take a shower, which will also cause bumps.

Cut it short and than wax it with cold aloe wax strips, it's the lest painful and will last up to 6 weeks, but you need to maintain it. Or do you want permanent removal, than go and talk to some one than can preform laser removal, but I wouldn't recommend that for such an delicate area.
Also use aloe oil after waxing to suit the skin and prevent red bumps. You might see them at first, but for me they always are gone fast. When I shave I have more hassle with that.

I'd suggest waxing.. Of course, it ain't the most pleasant procedure in the world, however, it is not so painful as it's said to be either..
If you have friend who works in a hospital, you may try to get this cream which cools skin ( they are usually used for non-norcosis surgery). I know it works for tattoos, it could do for waxing too.

waxing is probably better for avoiding itching and other side effects, tho a plain ole razor is much quicker.
