i think it says 15 min on the bottle. but if you want some extreme staying power, try leaving it on for as long as possible.
i left it on my hihglights overnight and it took 2 months for the color to start fading. i had to dye it dark to get it out completely.

Any time you get your hair colored, wash out the color with your shampoo and then deep condition. I would keep the color in for 25 minutes, then lean over your bathtub, add some water and work the color with the water to allow for a more even and thorough color (do this for about 5 min or until your neck/back can't take it anymore). Then you need to go 48 hours before washing again in order to retain the color. After that, wash with a shampoo that is for color treated hair, but if Manic Panic is temporary, it will begin to fade soon.

Since Manic Panic is not a permanent haircolor, you should wash as little as possible to make it last. Rinse with a non-chlorinated water if you must. That should stretch the time between colorings.

as long as possible. unfortunetly reds and pinks fade REALLLY easy and fast. try buying a shampoo that is made for red dyed hair. you can buy it at any drugstore or walmart. also, when you wash it, use an old towel as the pink may bleed onto your towel when it is wet. good luck to you
