What I do for my stomach is I avoid carbs at all cost. Drink lots of skim milk. And get yourself an ab-slide. 3 minutes a day and it works wonders. I also heard eating 3 tablespoons of peanut butter a day help shrink the waste...no more..no less.

I'd work out on a six day rotation. Weights every 1st, 3rd, and 5th day, with 30 minutes of cardio, and 60 minutes of cardio on the 2nd, 4th, and 6th day. Rest the seventh day, then repeat. You can go for a long, low impact hike, bike ride, or soccer/basketball game instead of a cardio day.

Eat enough to maintain this extra activity, but eat very healthy. Don't go zero fat, but only eat very healthy fat, like a bit of olive oil in some dressing or naturally healthy fat walnuts or kalamata olives. Cut out alcohol and sugar. Eat tons of fruit instead. Also, boost up your fiber intake. Eat about 150% of your RDA of fiber, without supplements, only whole grains and vegetables. I know it takes research, but use the internet to find out how much fiber is in that apple, brocolli, and green bean.

Most importantly, have fun!

Plenty of good tips and ideas already. I would add that you should mix it up. Find a variety of abs exercises that you like and do some one day and others on a different day. Abs are different from your other muscle groups in that you can work them more regularly.

Here's the "abs bicycle":

1. Clasp your hands behind your head while you lie flat on your back.

2. Raise your knees up while keeping your lower legs parallel to the floor.

3. Raise one elbow and the opposite knee towards each other (for example, bring your left elbow towards your right knee). While you do this, straighten out the opposite leg (in our example, your left leg).

4. Now do the same thing, but in reverse. Keep repeating until you can't anymore.

A lot of cardio (running, biking, etc) and a lot of ab exercises - I would say 30 minutes of cardio everday and then some good ab workouts at least 3 to 4 days per week (normal situps, crunches, plank or bridges, leg lifts, etc

If you don't have one right now, odds are there is little you can do to change it in six weeks. Time to hit the gym for 2 hours a day if you're serious about it. And no snacks!

How long did it take you to build the belly gut? was it 6 weeks? Probably not!!!
Then Is probably going to take alot longer than 6 weeks to get rid of it.
Should have started much sooner .
Good luck
