i plan on eating big healthy breakfast with egg whites and oatmeal, then two smaller healthy meals through out the day (lots of protein). I also plan on running 2 miles a day and doing some weight training.

Your exercises sound great and eating healthy meals is good as well. Try eating 5 small meals a day. It helps your metabolism to work at it's best which helps you loose weight better. Eggs and oatmeal sound great in the morning...make sure you just eat 2 egg whites and a cup of oatmeal. Then you can eat some fruit or a salad a few hours later. Try and add a protein shake in...that counts as a meal as well. A handful of Almonds or peanuts...even a baked sweet potato may serve as a snack if you get a little hungry before dinner...that's meal #4. Then tuna and salad, or a small skinless chicken breast, baked sweet potato and salad could be your dinner. If you provide your body enough nourishment it will burn off fat cells instead of storing them. Make sure you drink a lot of water too! Drinking water will flush all the toxins from your body. 4lbs in 10 days is very doable!

Good Luck!!!

Though it would be healthier to do this in 14 days my suggestions is this....cut as much added sodium from your diet as possible. This will reduce excess water retention in your body. You probably won't lose 4 lbs just from this but it will really help. It also depends on how quick you run those 2 miles. If you are done in less than 30 minutes then you are probably not getting a long enough cardio workout...you should maybe jog the 2 miles and increase the workout to 45 minutes.

4 lbs may be tough to actually burn off. The general goal is a pound per week of actual body weight and not just water weight. The meal you described will definitely help with your goal but THE MOST IMPORTANT part is the exercise. Millions of people diet in the US and everyone seems to think that eating less or eating healthy is the key to weight loss...it is in fact only part of the equation.

Burn more calories than you ingest to lose weight. Keep track of calories burned and know that there are 3500 calories in one pound of human fat. Good luck!

Well make sure that you eat healthy food, and try to eat food that has less trans fat and less saturated fat. Also do 25-30 sit-ups in the morning, then do 25-30 sit-ups in the afternoon, and then 25-30 sit-ups before bed. In the middle of the day, ride your bike for about 45-60 minutes a day. Also, if you sign up for Seventeen Magazine, they have some work-outs in there, and so does CosmoGirl. I hope this works out for you. Oh... and drink water, not soda.

Sure you can. Fairly easily to. 4 lbs works out to approx. 14,800 calories. You need to burn 1,480 calories a day more than you eat. Check out the website www.fitday.com. They have a good tracker (for free) that you can track your activity and daily caloric intake so you can find out how many calories go in, and how many go out every day. You can also find your base metabolic rate by searching on google, and what activities burn how many calories, and just track it yourself. While you typically shouldn’t have a deficit of more than 1000 calories, if you are eating healthy and doing more exercise, you’ll be fine.
