Dude I swear it's probably your struts and coils. I know exactly what your talking about cause I just had this problem with my 98 Sentra. The squeaking/sometimes grinding noise came from the front and when the 3 mechanics I checked looked at it, they all said the same thing.
I just got both of those fixed today for $730 in MN. Don't know what a Maxima will run you, but if you go to one of those "free break inspection" places, when they take off your tire, they should be able to see it and give you a price.
Good luck!

That's not really a question...
If you squeak when you hit a bump, I would first check your suspension. If something is shot there, it could cause a squeak. Or if something isn't tightened down all the way you could hear a squeak.
Stand on your bumper (where the squeak is coming from) and bounce up and down a few times. See if that recreates the squeak. If you jump off it and it goes up and down a couple times, your shocks are shot.

you ought to take the automobile to a fix keep. the 1st situation sounds love that's a timing situation that's a reasonably elementary fix yet desires a consultant to do it. The squeaky sound is maximum probable out of your suspension which will desire fixing too.

Check your struts and suspension bushings. Silicon spray on rubber bushing and seals will make them last longer and lubricate the rubber.
