Some people do, some people don't. What religion is supposed to be about is moral, ethical and spiritual concerns. It's about teaching you to be a better person and contributing to the world. It should touch and influence every part of your life and provide answers where you find none. it should be your guide in dealing with others and in solving ethical quandries. So, in that respect, it should be the answer. You should always ask youself "How would I want to be treated" before you do something to someone else. You should always think of others around you and int the common good interest.
What you sholdn't do is use religion for an excuse. It isn't the devil's fault, you shouldn't do things so the minister will approve - you should become a person of love and good conscious and not because you fear some eternal retriubtion. You should be kind to those around you because it right and you should quite juding others by your religious standards, but rather lover the sinner, hate the sin.

I am a Christian and I really can't stand it when people make every conversation a religious one. I can't stand having people quote scripture at me. Don't get me wrong, I love the scripture, but there are times when you don't need to mention God or the scriptures in conversation. There is a time and a place for everything. I do understand what you are saying.

That depends on what the question is, and how it is asked, some can be answered by say even a movie you seen, pay attention to the movies, and if you'd read the Bible, you would see that the answer you get is pretty close.

Say rather that they disappoint me.
To say "God wills it" or suchlike in answer to every question is to forego the use of the light of reason that is our greatest gift as human beings.
To meakly and passively bow before all events and questions is to surrender before the trial, to collapse supine without the spine that struggle for understand gives.
This is not to say that the ultimate answer may not lie in the will of a deity, but to understand the workings of the issue is to understand more of how that [presumed] deity works and wills, which is truly holy.

Yes, it bothers me to ask a question seeking Knowledge and receive other's Beliefs as an answer.
(What's wrong with saying "I don't know!"? It gets you the same two points, doesn't it?)

Doesn't bother me a bit as long as they keep it to themselves. Problem is, most of them seem to want to insist that I do the same thing. THAT bothers me a great deal.
