I do Taebo everyday and have good organs so I feel obligated to be a doner. Why waste them. Put them to good use.

My eyes are very very bad so they couldn't use them. I can't drive in the dark, what do they call that? Night blindness I think?

Me, I think anyone who isn't is extremely selfish, why deny someone else a life saving organ when it's just going to decompose otherwise?

I've been an organ donor for many years. I'm also the deeply grateful recipient of a bone graft taken from a deceased tissue donor. Thanks to that person's unselfish gift, I'm completely healthy today.

EDIT: "Illyria," like you, I'm also night blind, but I'm almost entirely so. (My kids think it's hilarious.) Don't worry -- this will NOT prevent you from donating your eyes. Although they remove the entire eyeball, they only use the cornea. Since it's the rod cells within the retina that are affected, causing night blindness, the corneas play no part in seeing at night. And FYI, a person can be extremely myopic and STILL donate their corneas.

I haven't donated an organ *yet*...

Honestly, while I think the ethical thing to do is be a doner, I'd rather have my body donated to science, which is really just as important in the long run.

Unfortunately, I can't donate blood because I nearly constantly have pain medication in my system, and I tend to pass out when I see needles anyway.

I have a donor card and I'm on the National Bone Marrow Registry. I've also donated blood in the past.

I don't know that I am a candidate for donation anymore. I take immuno-suppresent drugs and chemotherapy to control my rheumatoid arthritis.

In order to donate blood I would have to stop my treatment for 4 months prior. It's a matter of wait-and-see upon my death. My meds can have adverse effects on my organs, so only time will tell.

I am one. See, after I die, I'm not gonna need them anyways. Why be greedy?

I'm not that physically fit, but I am quite healthy. Relatively low blood pressure, total cholesterol of 123, now that's pretty darn good if you ask me! Only missing a gall bladder, but I don't think those get transplanted anyways, lol! And even though I'm petrified of needles, I've given blood 4 times in the past 3 years.

While I don't do taebo, I do work out every day and take really good care of myself and though I'm already missing two of my organs, I fully intend to donate the rest. I don't donate blood but that's more because I'm hypoglycemic and they won't let me donate rather than lack of desire to. I'm all about putting them to good use if I can't use them anymore.

Registered organ donor, current blood donor.

I had a family member die before he could even make it to the list, so I will do anything in my power to help someone avoid the pain of losing someone from a possibly preventable death.

I am diabetic, so I don't think they could use my pancreas, but yes I have signed my organ donor card, and the back of my license. I have also made known to my family that I want to donate my organs. If I am dead, what good are they to me?

I'm not an organ donor right now, I want to wait to make that decision when I get married and have kids. Just because I dunno...if I die and my heart should continue beating in someone else? How would my husband feel about that. That's just how I think about it, doesn't mean I'm deadset against organ donating though. :)

I donate blood though.

Yes, I am an organ donor. I have a bad liver and bad eyesight, but I'm sure I've got something of value!

Every rookie pilot is granted a clone upon graduation from the Flight Academy, there is never a need for organs. If one were to perish, (having their pod destroyed) all one need do is have their most recently updated clone activated and all is well. I hope this quells your fears.

Godspeed, fellow pilot.
