Be live it or not most dreams have nothing to do with what you think they do. I would not call dreams a warning it maybe be that you have certain issues with some one or thing. And its your minds way of trying to deal with it while you sleep. The link below should help you interpret your dreams

It could be any number of things, from a warning about him to a strong desire to be with him.
Remember, our dreams are the mind's way of dealing with all the information that it has delt with all day long.
Your dream could be just a desire to spend some time with him.
If he is of significant importance in your life, you might have to do some serious thinking about him, especially if he is in a mentor or similar position.

Im not Muslim, I'm a Christian so, none of that Jewish stuff, just kidding. I am not a Muslim, I am a Christian and here is the interpretation of your dream from God. Your teacher is your guild and the girl represents the spirit. So, your guild and a spirit given to be with you are traviling down a path that is not created by God (the crooked stair case). This path is a path that takes you through an amount of time (unknown to me) and through an evil time. In this evil time you will observe people who seek to destroy the ways of God through means that make sense to them but, God is not what they think he is so they will not succeed. while they try to kill him and God just plays with them as if it were no more than a game to him (meaning he is so powerful he laughs at there attempts). It is at this time you will truly see evil for what it is (as your friend who is an Atheist), your eyes will open to the evil that rejecting God represents.

Job 33:14 For God does speak—now one way, now another—
though no one perceives it.
Job 33:15 In a dream, in a vision of the night,
when deep sleep falls on people
as they slumber in their beds,
Job 33:16 he may speak in their ears
and terrify them with warnings,
Job 33:17 to turn them from wrongdoing
and keep them from pride,
Job 33:18 to preserve them from the pit,
their lives from perishing by the sword.
God uses dreams and visions in various ways to communicate to his creation. Leaning how to discern the voice of God in your dreams is an incredible and wonderful journey.

It depends on what you saw in the dream and what the guy was doing and what colors where in the dream. All these things are neccessary to help identify what a dream means.

Either it does or it doesn't it is all in how you choose to interpret it! If you believe they mean something then it may effect your well-being, it you don't believe then it is not likely to have any effect on you whatsoever! Use some logic, it's not that hard to figure stuff out when you quit believing everything people tell you!
