Specialized is a good brand. If any turf-twit complains that they are made in Asia, say "So what?" over 70% of high end bikes are now produced in Asia- including the European models. Heck Shimano's component factory is even in Taiwan. Anyway, Specialized is a great brand (my dream bike is their S-Works Roubaix road bike).

Yes, and they are a good value for the money. Many of the larger bike shops carry the brand, so there is a lot of price competition. I would compare the quality to Trek and Giant.

Yes, Specialized bikes are better than just being good.Infact,they're excellent.
I like their FSR mountaibikes the most.

Generally, they're very good. They have from a very basic, yet good basic bike to bikes costing 7,000 bucks.

they are def. in the top few of my list. the new FSR is wicked bad.
