Unfortunately the CMP is currently out of rifles until at least September, they are not even accepting orders right now. If you need it sooner go to gunbroker.com

Civilian Marksmanship Program is probably the best place to find affordable M1 Garands, M1903 Springfields, M1917 Enfields, and M1 Carbines. However there are some eligibility requirements (i.e. CMP can sell surplus military firearms, ammunition, parts and other items only to members of CMP affiliated clubs who are also U.S. citizens, over 18 years of age and who are legally eligible to purchase a firearm.)
You need Proof of Affiliation (to a member organization)
You need Proof of Marksmanship as well.
They're probably going to run you at least $1200-1400.

As of now, your best options are online auctions, gun shops, or private sellers. The CMP has ran out of M1 Garands and has been without them for awhile. The latest I heard about them was that they didn't expect any new shipments any time soon and who knows what condition the guns are in that they could eventually receive.

Go to GUNSAMERICA and see what their selection of garands look like. I bought one years ago for 200 and last month for 1450; but we have no inflation.
