I noticed that many people are upset about being reported all the time. i saw many complaints posted and some people even doing what i did and throwing their hands up in the air and leaving. i saw deke try to rally up the atheists to start reporting every violation they see.

well i'm back, because i don't want my fellow pagans, atheists, muslims, hindus, non fundy christians and everyone else, standing against the crazy fundies who make this forum and world a scary and potentially violent place.

thanks for all your kind words when i left. i wasn't sure if i was coming back, and because of the nice things you said, i'm back!

and to ask a question, so i don't get reported.......

if people evovled from monkeys, why are there still monkeys???

cheers!

**takes a big, well deserved chug of molson canadian**

p.s. please star this one for me : )

Why do I respond to stuff like this??? Lol here goes:

Evolution does not mean that every single critter develops into the same critter as the other critter! Duh. Why are some cats black and others tabby? Why are some dogs big and some little? It's a science of averages and chance occurences. As things evolve (any things) some of them go down the wrong genetic path and ultimately hit a dead end. Others take other paths. Way back in the ancient eons of time, some critters took the path that ended up as humans, some the one that ended in apes, some the path that ended in monkeys, and so on. Get it? I didn't think so, lol, but I tried !

Looking at some of your "fellows", it's obvious you have a wrong meaning for the word "violent". One thing is the violence some thousand years ago, and another different thing is to be "violent" today when we all are "supposed" to know better. (I'm just saying)

Evolution is true, but there is no "missing link" to prove we evolved *from monkeys*.

Hey, I'll agree with anyone who also drinks Canadian.... ;)

I've actually starting reporting the rude theists. It's gone from "live and let live" to being a doormat.

And I am not a doormat.

I encourage other atheists not to take crap anymore either. Isn't that what we've always done with the theists?

You know, I don't care about any of that now. I don't report, don't block, I just answer and state my opinions. This is my big account, my main email. I don't care about the level 6 status or any of that, but if this account gets deleted then I will be a rabid rabbit.

and I'm glad you're back!!! :D

We didn't come from the monkeys we know today, we evolved from similar ancestors, over billions of years. Anyway, there are lots of different spiecies of monkey.

Welcome back, Riegan. We all need a break sometimes.

So I'm legal and answering the question: We didn't evolve from monkeys; we share a common ancestor.

Welcome back, Riegan. You're definitely one of the good ones.

It's far too early for me to start drinking, so it'll have to be coffee for now. Cheers.

Welcome back, Riegan!

And to answer, because we didn't, we share a common ancestor. Then the aliens injected us with their DNA so we could rise above the animals.
