If he can't sin, then I guess that means that there are some things that he can't do. That throws out omnipotent/all-powerful, unless your definition of omnipotent and all powerful does not include being able to do all things.

If god is able to do all things, what do you think of the people who said he couldn't, such as in this question: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AoOtmoOWQahIcHbKoR6rRRLsy6IX?qid=20070608091420AAVeFi6

Well, xians will say he IS the law, like he's judge Dredd or something. But, by the laws in their bible he has committed many sins.......He coveted Joseph's fiance Mary, had a child with her out of wedlock, killed countless people with fire and brimstone and water just to name a few things he's supposed to consider to be sins when people do them. Invisible sky pixie's have such a double standard! they suck

God can sin, the point is that he chooses not to. Would you rather worship a God with boundaries, or a God who is able to choose not to. God sets the standard, so anything He chooses to do, is not sin.
Jesus endured much temptation, yet he did not sin. Being human, he had the ability, but he CHOOSE not to. That is why he was the perfect sacrifice. Don't get me wrong, he wasn't just human, but also God.

Good question!
I believe God can do all things. I think "sin" is more of a human concept, though.

There is only one thing God can't do and that is sin. He is the most holiest person in the whole universe. That is why Jesus was the only sinless man on earth.

The reason God cant sin is because he is perfect and sin is not therefore he wasn't able to commit sin. Unlike we are. We as Christians are supposed to share our equal responsibilities for our sins, do you?

I know that you are mocking those of us who believe- so answering this question is probably futile= but-

actually, we were made in his image, right?

to be like him, right?

but we ate of the tree of life, right?

so now we have free- will, right?

So if we were created in His image, with His characteristics, and we didnt have free-will, wouldnt that mean God has no free-will?

Demosthenes

Edit: DC2000, Hell is seperation from God. sin is not. please be more intelligient next time

Your ingnorance is impressive....sin is the act against His teachings. Therefore our way of doinfg things comes from us because the way we think is not hi way. that is why we are humans......he has one thought process and that is his. Therefore, you asking the question of him sinning is silly ang just ......wrong. Go watch Hanna Montana little boy....God Bless.

if God decided to commit something he named a sin, it would no longer be a sin. Or God would be a hypocrite...either one.

If a tree fell in the woods and no one was there to hear it, would it make a sound? What came first the chicken or the egg?
