for those of you who have already attended the 2007 District Convention..."Follow the Christ"....what did you think of it? Wasn't it wonderful? And the sound drama great? and the new release?(don't say what the new release is yet because i don't want to spoil it for those who have not gone yet)...and if you havent atteded yours yet...when will you and where?

Mine too was June 1-3 in Billings, MT
It was the best Convention ever!
In part because my Daughter was baptized on Saturday, June 2nd.
She was raised in the truth, left when she was 16 and now, 12 years later, she showed her dedication to Jehovah threw water baptism.
As her 7 year old daughter and I stood there, so proudly to watch.
My granddaughter asked me if Jehovah lets children get baptize too?
Soon 3 young boys stepped up, ages from 10 to 14 and they were the first of a few more young ones to come forward to be baptize.
She stood there, with here eyes as wide as they could be and just watched them go under the water.
Then she looked at me and said, I guess I have to wait a little while longer, so I asked her why?
She said, "that one boy is just a little older than me and when he went in, the water almost covered him before the brothers baptized him. I guess I have to wait so I'm tall enough not to drown."
Talk about tears and laughter, it was a very joyous time for all of us!
We had our 2 day assembly the weekend before and their was a total of 9 baptized in Great Falls.
At our convention in Billings 43 more were added.

Mine was the same weekend as yours and it was AWESOME! I loved every minute of it. The sound drama was a great way to help us enjoy our own Bible readings, that was a good idea. So many things about it I liked....did they use the illustration about the morse code at yours??? I dont want to tell too much but that was a good one...really makes ya think and appreciate being part of a special people...only people Jehovah draws to him....I dont remember how many were baptized...but our peak attendance was 6500...

Mine is in 2 long weeks! I'm so excited already, I can't wait!
It will be the weekend of June 22-24th. I think I'm prepared, but I'm not sure of course!
I always look forward to the drama. And it's always way better than I expected it to be.

Mine is July 6-8 in Tucson, AZ! I keep hearing how wonderful it is from my brothers and sisters that have already attended.
It's so refreshing to receive spiritual feasts at the "proper time!"

The problem with these conventions is you have a fellow who thinks he is an academic stand up and talk in a monotone and unwavering speed.
The net effect to the audience is that over 50% of them are put asleep by such a talk. It preserves them from hearing heresy. (Or did they hear it when they were awake?)
