My kitten, Stan, is 9 weeks old & still very small & playfull. At what age do kittens stop being playfull & go into normal cat lazy mode?

They are always playful, they just get smart enough after about 8 months to realize that they might fall off things.... no cancel that, they learn to think before acting, like when a kitten does stupid things that we find very cute like doing a backflip off the couch or running into objects, or trying to climb somthing slick, but when it gets older it knows what it can do and can't do, and it learns to keep a better eye on its surroundings. But when it reaches about 14-16 it is like an elderly person, and slows down quite a bit. This is the last stage of thier life.

My kitty went into lazy cat mode at 6 months. By the way, if Stan is male he will soon be getting the girls into trouble, if Stan is female, she'll get into trouble at about 5 months!
By the way if Stan is female, its just cruel giving her a name like that! LOL!

How cute!!!
I have a year and a half old cat who has still not grown up but my neighbour has a kitten younger who just sleeps all day so it probably depends on the breed!

Cats start to slow down on the playing mode around 3-4 months. By around 6 months they are mostly independent, but they still like to play. At around 1 year then mostly over the playing stage, but some still like to play.

Kittens will frequently start to chill out down basically whilst they seem to be a 300 and sixty 5 days old yet they're nevertheless starting to be for the 1st 2 years. lady cats stay playful their finished life, no longer as intensely as whilst they're kittens, yet they play their finished life, simply by fact they use play to tutor their kittens. you ought to make the regulations and persist with them. Feed her in the previous you consume or once you consume and then preserve your foodstuff. sometimes, provide her "leftovers" or a splash milk as a handle. tutor her now to renounce getting at your foodstuff. Get some small filled toys for her and paper wads do wonders once you disintegrate them and toss them for her. Foil balls paintings yet paper one make noise to get her interest. she would manage to start calming down at approximately one 300 and sixty 5 days yet isn't seen an grownup cat until eventually she is two. (she would manage to have kittens in the previous she is two).

I don't know if cats ever completely grow up. My mom has a 16 year old cat that still tears through the house.
