I don't believe in Creationism - actually the whole question of how we were created really isn't that important to me. I do believe in a higher power - but the question of whether God created me in my present form or through evolution just seems irrelevant - if evolution is ever proven to be 200% true, and *if* I'm right there is a God - I will still be God's creation, won't I?
But I don't understand why people are so offended - people don't seem offended when a church that teaches things against their own beliefs is built by others - if you are strong in your belief of evolution, this museum shouldn't be any different. I know they are presenting their ideas as though there is scientific background, but you have the right to open a museum across the street from it to refute such ideas, don't ya? One of the great things about this country is that we have people all over that believe and express all kinds of sane and insane ideas. So what? And for the folks indicating this is some sort of reflection on Kentucky - are you implying there isn't some seemingly backwards or retarded in every state? I wouldn't want some fool that holds this museum against the great state of Kentucky here anyway - these folks are showing they are just as self-righteous as the religious folk they tend to insult - keep your uppity stuck up butts elsewhere.

Just reading "Kentucky Creation Museum" makes me laugh I mean New York Creation Museum, or California Creation Museum doesn't do it, doesn't have the proper ring, but Kentucky Creation Museum just fits - like a banana in a human hand

I think it is great....it Pensacola, Fl there is a small creation museum in Dinosaur Adventure Land and is great...I can't wait to visit the one in Kentucky.....some may no approve of it because it contradicts evolution. I am glad God has given the resources to build it because now anyone can go there and learn there are other theories besides evolution.

Over 25 million dollars, and they spend it on a Bible Museum which only tells their own Christian point of view, they take science and twist the truth so that it can fit in with the bible and everything else is Satan's work against god. Just think, there's still poor people in the U.S, or children who need to be taken care of, to fed and clothed.
What a waste of money, so they can tell a lie.

It sure has promoted discussion. That was its goal, and it has done that. Why is everybody upset. This is not the first Creation Museum and certainly not the last.

A $27 million dollar comedy club. Hard to believe for many US citizens and the majority of the civilized world that such a thing could be built and that so many in the US still believe the fairie tale of creation.

Note that the question asked just before this one is, "What did you laugh about today?"
There's a connection between that an the "creation museum."

I think a "What Hell Might Be Like" museum would also be entertaining.

It is funny.
Even the guy on Glenn Beck was almost laughing at them last night, and he said it was a good idea at first.
