I have stray cats near my house and they are using a section as a bathroom, what can i do to get rid of them?

If you can, find good homes for them. Please do not call an animal shelter/animal control. If you do the cats will be put to sleep on the spot.

If cats or dogs are not given to the animal shelter the ones that are "caught" will be put right to sleep.

My sister who works in landscaping had been feeding a family of cats for over a year where condos are. A woman moved in to a first level apartment and noticed the cats. She called the shelter to come and catch them.

All but one of the cats were caught by the time my sister knew anything about the woman calling animal control. The animal control officer had just caught the last cat and my sister (who loves animals like I do) pleaded with the officer to give her the cat so she could take it home where she lives and has a lot of land. The officer went on saying that she hates her job and that the cat will be put right to sleep when she gets to the shelter. But she still wouldn't give my sister the cat, because if the cat had something or hurt my sister, there is fear she would sue the officer. My sister wouldn't have done that if the cat had rabies and she got bit by it. But all the kitties got put to sleep, just because they were strays.

Get a dog that hates cats, get live traps from the humane society and bait them with sardine or tuna, or wet cat food, put powdered cayenne pepper all over the ground where they go.

Call the local sheriff department to see if they have an Animal Control Officer to come and retrieve them.
