Monday night my brother started having a fever and having flu symptoms. The doctor came and perscribed antibiotics. Yesterday, he started throwing up and having a stomach ache (I think he threw up the antibiotics). So we call the doctor and he doesn't know what it is so he tells us to go to the hospital. We go, they say he might have apendicitis but since the pain is like in spasms and it's on the upper abdomen they don't think so. They take and xray of his lungs to check that he doesn't have pneumonia (he doesn't) Then a surgeon sees him and tells us to come back the next day so they can take a sonogram of his abdomen. They take the sonongram, but don't see a thing. What can he have???

flu is probably the best bet but it might end up being a FUO. Which stands for fever of unknown origan. Which means in doctor speak. That he got sick and ran a fever but we have no clue what was the matter with him. Happens more often than you would think.

He probably just has a bad case of the flu. Flu can be quite violent and painful.
