No that's not true at all. The Jewish practice is the same practice that doctors use...or the practice that doctors use is the same that Jews use, since we came up with it first lol.
Anyways. Men are born with a thing called a foreskin, which is an extra bit of skin wrapped around the penis. Circumcision cuts that extra bit of skin off. NOT the head.

Well, you have experienced one of the adverse effects that the doctors don't disclose and in fact suppress. Mutilating the genitals by circumcision NEVER improves sexual feeling or function, and in fact destroys 50-75% of sexual sensitivity and more, as well as decreasing the intensity of orgasm. And it makes the penis smaller; when you remove material from any object---that object is smaller. Anyway, surgical restoration doesn't yield any good results, as the skin that's grafted to the shaft is taken from the scrotum, and doesn't have any nerve connection to the rest of the penis. The texture is also wrong, and yields a very odd-looking result. And circumcision has no standards, that's why the scars vary wildly in location and appearance. The scars from circumcision can range from anywhere just below the glans to halfway down the penile shaft or even more---in fact nowhere near where the foreskin actually was. And they invariably take off far too much skin--which can result in very tight, painful and distorted erections. The only successful method I know of for foreskin restoration is tugging, which uses a device or tape to put tension on the shaft skin of the penis, slowly and gradually allowing new skin cells to grow and extend the shaft skin into a new foreskin. I've been restoring for two years, using a device called the TLC Tugger, and have had excellent results. But I was cut more loosely to begin with, and had a little skin for the device to "grab onto." The new foreskin is wonderful, and the inner foreskin is especially sensitive, adding a new dimension to sexual feeling that is only possible with a foreskin. The glans and surrounding tissues have dekeratinized, and this adds to the sexual sensitivity and also the intensity of orgasms. Circumcision is penis damage; that's what it is and that's what it does. Foreskin restoration won't repair the neural and vascular damage, but the new skin is highly sensitive and compensates for the thousands of nerve endings amputated with the original foreskin. It sounds like you were cut very tightly, probably using the plastibel, which is a torture device that strangulates the infant's penile skin, usually far back from the foreskin, so that the skin dies, and the torture device and the dead skin finally fall off. There are no advantages to circumcision; only damage. Your mother can't be blamed totally for having you mutilated, people were brainwashed by lies and propaganda into thinking that there were some benefits to male genital mutilation. The medical community, which makes money from it and many of whom are members of the religions that try to impose circumcision on all males is largely responsible. It may be possible for you to bring suit against the doctor/hospital that did this to you---requirements vary from state to state. You would have to consult an attorney. Anyway, you would probably have to use a taping method to expand your shaft skin, and there are lots of sites and a lot of info about it on the internet. Just type in foreskin restoration on your browser if you're interested. About 200,000 guys are restoring their foreskins, to try to repair some of the damage done by male genital mutilation, called circumcision. Circumcision is the worst hoax ever perpetrated on the male sex. A foreskin is not a birth defect; it is a birthright. ERIC

Stubborn?? Your bf is an idiot.
Circumcision is the removal of the foreskin.
The methods for removing the foreskin are basically the same whether it is done in a "Bris" (Jewish ceremony) when the baby boy is 8 days old or by a doctor (to a male at any age).

Your boyfriend isn't stubborn, he's simply frighteningly ignorant and irrational. That might well be the single most ridiculous notion I've heard in months. If your boyfriend keeps going around spouting this nonsense, he's going to make himself look like a total idiot. I don't think either of you want that, do you?

Two things:
1. No, of course not, it's just the foreskin--always has been, always will be.
2. Get a new boyfriend. Seriously.

Nope. There are blood sacks that would be damaged to the point of not working if they did that.
