Be honest... are you one of those people, religious or not? Because I am young and I think life is precious, I don't want die before I accomplish what I plan to have--a full and happy life.
If you aren't afraid of death then why not? I don't know anyone who isn't afraid.

The fear of the unknown.

Why is a dark alley scary? Because you don't know what lies ahead in it. Same thing with death. You don't know what's going to happen to you, so there's a bit of fear.

I can honestly say I don't fear death at all,I have already far outlived the time the Drs. gave me.I am still able to go about the business of living. Even before I went down sick,I was not afraid. I'm in no hurry,it will come soon enough. But I am getting pretty old now, unlike yourself..I have done just about everything I planned on doing, seen a lot of places. Why do I not fear dieing? Because I have utterly no fear of any coming "judgment" without that threat, well, dieing is just as natural as living.

I don't fear death.

I know that I am not my mind or body.

I enjoy the time I have, but there is nothing keeping me here. I am not attached to anything in the world (fiance and family included).

I already have a full and happy life...and no regrets. I'm 33 currently.

I think people fear the pain and suffering that usually accompanies death. Most people have big egos also and that part of them fears it's extinction.
