Sadly many of the answers you will get from my fellow atheists will simply be "there is no proof". While this is undeniably true, there are several reasons I have for not believing in god on top of these which I shall outline below.
Firstly, an omnipotent or perfect being would not have any reason to act in any way, specifically creating the universe, because it would have no desires since the very concept of desire is subjectively human. As the universe exists, there is a contradiction, and therefore, an omnipotent god cannot exist.
Secondly, omnipotence itself is a paradox as it clearly leads to the question "Can God create something he can't lift?" If he can't lift it then he isn't omnipotent and if he can lift he isn't omnipotent as he can't create something he can't lift!
There is also a contradiction in the idea that God is omnipotent and omniscience as that leads to the question "Can God change his mind?" If he is all powerful he should be able to change his mind. But if he is all knowing then he would have to know the truth, meaning he would have no reason to change his mind. And if he does change his mind then either his previous or current decision must be wrong making God a fallable being.
Most importantly perhaps is that there does not seem to be a need for a God. Scientific theories can explain so much of how things work now that the idea that a "God" created everything is laughable. As our understanding grows we see that things can't just have sprung into existence in accordance to a divine will.

Well I'm agnostic, but I believe many people don't believe in a God because the idea of it is illogical. Aswell as there's factors including the amount of evil that goes on in the world, like why would any God let an innocent child die? You could argue that in the end it dosen't matter, since the child will go to heaven which is for enternity, though still, it seems rather unjustified that he/she dosen't get a chance to experience life.
Another reason is our insignificance, this is a interesting observation of how small we are: http://www.comagz.com/webmagazine/story/proportions_how_small_we_are
Was all that really just made for us?

There is no reason for me to believe in God. That is a fact. Every arguement that I have encountered in favor of the existence of God has included at least one logical fallacy. That is also a fact.

Because there is no (credible) evidence to support the existence of an omniscient, all-powerful, interfering diety.
Fact: God(s) has never been seen. None of them have.
Fact: Nothing but humans care about humanity. (Squirrels think we're nuts, btw.)

In bible school I found huge flaws in the bible. It conflicted not just with reality, but with itself. That's why I don't believe in the bible god. If you want "facts" just try reconcilling what happened on the most important day in Christianity. The bible contradicts itself with what happened on the day Christ rose from the dead. You will find conflicts, in Matthew, Mark, Luke and John with:
who went to the tomb
why they went
when they went
who was there (men or angels)
how many (1 or 2)
where they were situated
was the stone rolled away or not
--- and it goes on from there
I don't believe in any god, because I see no evidence of one.

No evidence for God makes atheism the logical default. That's a fact but believers don't like to admit it.

I won't believe a god who killed every living thing on earth by the great flood and created hell. There is really no free will. You have only two choices: heaven or hell.
Believe or reason.

The Bible is very contradictory, and I have a hard time believing in a spirit...it is the same as believig in Santa, etc. You would not believe in Santa as an adult, would you? Same principle/.

Why do I have to believe in your god?
Why not another god?
Is there a god that nobody on earth knows about?
Does it even matter if there is a god (gods)?
