Well, I'm not a christian and am not sure there IS a god...
BUT if there was one, DAMN he's evil!!! always smiting, allowing children to be born with debilitating birth defects, allowing cancer to take some of our best people while those other ******* live forever (well, it sure seems like forever), and then there's that whole Job (the person, not the employment) thing...
I would rather believe that there ISN'T a god, and that this is all chance, than to think that someone is actually up there allowing all this misery to take place, and even creating some of it himself.

I guess I don't quite understand what you're asking. If God is equated with evil, then he's not God. He can allow evil to happen in order for us to learn/grow or to carry out His will (which is often better than we know) but God can't be the cause of evil if you truly believe that He exists.

God is the perfect absence of evil.
Mankind has the capacity for evil, and we have a choice of whether we want to be evil or not.
Don't mistake God's power for evil.

What's in your mind? If you are Christian, you won't think God is evil. But if you think He is evil, probably you hate HIM.. He has reasons for it. He has actually planned something best for us. God is Love, remember?

Not sure what God your talking about. But the God of christianity is not evil. Maybe you feel that way becasue you don't truly love him, you don't know him, you haven't ask Christ into your heart. It's easy to hate what you don't understand.

GOD is not evil- Satan is, and we are evil when we live in sin- which is who we are apart from Christ. If you heard that God is evil- Satan is the one trying to convince you of that fact.

God is not evil, he is 100% good. As in, he is the personification of good.

God is all Good . He gives us free will and sometimes our choices are not good, sometimes even evil. That is what is called sin you don't hear the word much anymore it ain't PC.
